Package: dhcp-client Version: 0.99debian5 Severity: important When booting a ltsp client after installing the ltsp chroot using the debian-edu CD, /etc/resolv.conf is completely empty. This in turn break the sitesummary-client system as it need working DNS to locate its sitesummary server.
I suspect this might be related to the use of resolvconf. It would make more sense if dhclient updated /etc/resolv.conf on the client when the client boot, to reflect the DNS server listed in the DHCP response.
