Package: mysql-server-5.0
Version: 5.0.24a-9
Severity: wishlist

Hi,

Why is binlog enabled?
And why are logs kept for 10 days?

I've seen the logs being almost as large as the database itself.
And with daily backups, logs of 10 days ago don't seem to make sense.

Disabled logs or a default of 3 days seem more appropriate to me.

BTW, 5.0.26 has been released. :)

Greetings,

Olaf
