My goal is to rebuild etch on etch, so yes, my packages are not up-to-date (as in: same as in unstable). However, the problem changed today (the bug was filed yesterday): Building dependency tree... Note, selecting python-gnome2 instead of python2.4-gnome2 Some packages could not be installed. This may mean that you have requested an impossible situation or if you are using the unstable distribution that some required packages have not yet been created or been moved out of Incoming. The following information may help to resolve the situation: The following packages have unmet dependencies: python-gnome2: Depends: python-gtk2 (>= 2.8.6-1) but it is not going to be ins talled python-gtk2-dev: Depends: python-gtk2 (>= 2.8.6-6) but it is not going to be i nstalled E: Broken packages apt-get failed. Package installation failed Trying to reinstall removed packages: Trying to uninstall newly installed packages: Source-dependencies not satisfied; skipping diacanvas2 But this issue looks transient. I'll check again in a few days to see if the problem is still here, and close the bug if needed. -- | Lucas Nussbaum | [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.lucas-nussbaum.net/ | | jabber: [EMAIL PROTECTED] GPG: 1024D/023B3F4F | -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
