Package: xtla Version: 1.2-1 Severity: important While looking to do an NMU to fix the RC bug #391828, I've found that the "debian" diff for this package is nothing of the sort. The debian/ directory is included in the upstream tarball (which is normally strongly recommended against), and the diff is simply some trivial changes in the configure script.
Please fix this, either:
a) make the package properly native (with no diff);
b) (better) ship a clean upstream tar.gz with the Debian packaging
setup in the diff
While you're at it, there are several other issues that should be
fixed, as found by a lintian check:
