Package: python-gst0.10 Version: 0.10.5-5 Severity: important
Hello, I hope I'm not blaming the wrong package here ... anyway, neither "quodlibet" nor "listen" can play music without really bad jitter (completely untolerable). They both depend on python-gst0.10. OTOH, gst-launch is ok, as is (for example) xmms. This started happening after system upgrade from K7 to X2. Among other things, this involved sound driver change from snd-cmipci to snd-hda-intel. (BTW, I tried to produce the problem with examples/vorbisplay.py but it didn't start ... maybe I should file another bug report?) -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers testing APT policy: (999, 'testing'), (500, 'stable'), (100, 'unstable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.18 Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C (charmap=UTF-8) (ignored: LC_ALL set to fi_FI.utf8) Versions of packages python-gst0.10 depends on: ii libc6 2.3.6.ds1-4 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libglib2.0-0 2.12.3-2 The GLib library of C routines ii libgstreamer-plugins-base0 0.10.10-1 GStreamer libraries from the "base ii libgstreamer0.10-0 0.10.10-1 Core GStreamer libraries and eleme ii libxml2 2.6.26.dfsg-4 GNOME XML library ii python 2.4.3-11 An interactive high-level object-o ii python-central 0.5.6 register and build utility for Pyt ii python-gtk2 2.8.6-6 Python bindings for the GTK+ widge python-gst0.10 recommends no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
