When i try to start courier-imap i get

This is the first time I heard of this problem and it also unreproducible for me.
../bash/substr.c is no file belonging to the Courier sources.
What is your value for IMAP_ULIMITD in /etc/courier/imapd ?
Does increasing the value or set it to 0 has an affect ?
Any other noteworthy changes on your system ?
