hi

:-) you have been bited by the obnoxious 'zope-common' bug

currently, 'zope' and 'zope2.7' have been packaged separately,
and there is no policy helping zope packages to install themselves
properly in all kind of zopes, etc etc

we are planning to create packages 'zope-common' , 'zope-debhelper' and
institute a 'zope-policy' so that zope packages will deal with
all possible installation problems at best

in the meantime,

nope. 'zope' (2.6) is started in different ways

and I prefer that all different zopes may coexist (yes, there is also
a zopex3 package around)
