Yes, it had been working as expected for about 4 years, until this last
upgrade.
I guess I should have mentioned that the bug seems to have been
reintroduced in 2.0.0beta. (I haven't tested earlier betas than beta3.)
I noticed it's been reported upstream alredy as bug 1526852.
