I just want to report my findings after digging a bit more into this. I try to connect with a SonyEricsson mobile with an external USB dongle. Downgrading to version 2.15 (stable) fixes the problem, just like Felix reported. With the current version, I do not see the dongle from the mobile when I search for it. hcitool scan works though.
At the moment this bug is blocking gnome-bluetooth from entering the archive, as I am unable to do any testing with it. Can someone give a clue about where to start digging here?
