The CGI functionality requires Date::Manip, that's true, but the CGI itself is optional, and not enabled by default. Munin will work quite well without Date::Manip in its default configuration. The libdate-manip-perl packages has been recommended since 1.2.0-1, though. I believe this is the proper thing to do, so I'm closing this bug.
