Package: rsync Version: 2.6.8-2 Followup-For: Bug #254612
One of the fantastic new features in rsync 2.6.8 is support for ACLs. Unfortunately, this is only available in etch and sid and even more unfortunate is the etch packages at least are not compiled with ACL support! Any chance we can get ACL support compiled in for etch and sid? -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.17-2-k7 Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Versions of packages rsync depends on: ii libc6 2.3.6.ds1-4 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libpopt0 1.10-3 lib for parsing cmdline parameters rsync recommends no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
