more than 5 minutes, and after 2-3 refreshes, reproducable all the times with the hardware specs I mentioned. The easiest way to see it used to be : minimize the window and then maximise it. It was unable even to refresh and the only thing you could see was white windows. > I'm not sure what to tell you. I don't see it but I do have a GB of > RAM, but top tells me nothing is amiss. The mainstream did a lot of work fixing things in the GIF code since last December. Last week I got a few emails that some related bugs have been resolved (mozilla.org's bug 178809 and 105370). I downloaded the nightly builds from mozilla's ftp site, and apparently Firefox does not have this problem since 2005-03-11. It raises medium to high load with the animations (gifs or flash), but it does not hangs, and for sure you do not have to kill it after 5 minutes. -- I.Ioannou <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
