The debian "unstable" pan package has been updated a few times since my
initial report but the problem still persists.

Please not the following error message produced by pan while attempting
a save to /home/bertbob/News/Pan/%g  which should expand
to /home/bertbob/News/Pan/comp.lang.apl/<article-title.txt>.

Thu Oct  5 15:32:49 2006 - Error saving
"/home/bertbob/News/Pan/comp.lang.apl/pan-saved-file": No Data found.
