If it does not segfault now - what for problems are getting you now ? Can you attache the output (the essential parts)
The problem is that on Debian, there is no 'gcj' binary.
There is one (although it belongs to the default 3.3 gcj version): apt-get install gcj
Things do work when I make a symlink.
Do thinks work also if you install gcj as said above ?
