The error has changed or got replaced by a different one. It seems to
remember hashing accross crashes now but incomplete/wrongly.

Try this:

Start some multi-file torrents and let the disk run full. Rtorrent
then shuts down the torrents (or crashes already). Free some space and
rehash and restart the stopped torrent and you have a high probability
of a crash (error that some chunks were already hashed).

After that when you restart rtorrent all files get rehashed but the
already hashed parts stay (partly) rehashed. Suddenly some file is
200% done, chunks that it remembered as hashed get counted again.
