Hoped to file report on old netbase package, > but things are changing too quickly. /etc/inetd.conf is currently created by netbase, if hurd does not use the netbase package then its replacement too should create inetd.conf. Or at least it should do this until a better solution is designed. So far it's not obvious which package should create inetd.conf, so I think that we can safely continue ignoring the issue for a few more months since it does not affect real systems anyway. Adding a dependency on netbase to update-inetd would create a dependency loop, which I understand is a bad thing. But this does not really matter because post-etch netbase will become an essential package for unrelated reasons. -- ciao, Marco
