Hi, I cannot reproduce your problem. Which distribution are you running ? I suspect you are running some kind of Debian Sarge with a backported version of python-central. In this case, I think the bug lies in the backport of python-central you are using, since the script which is crashing is pycentral in the postinst script of pymacs.
