I am interested in debugging this issue, but as I am new to ifupdown hacking, I will need some more info. Can you try to set your system up to strace 'ifup -a' when the system hang, to find out what exactly is triggering the hang? This can for example be done by editing the file /etc/init.d/networking, replacing 'ifup -a' with 'strace ifup -a' Friendly, -- Petter Reinholdtsen -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
