Package: mysql-server-5.0 Version: 5.0.24a-5 Severity: grave During a routine update of packages, I encountered an error with mysql-server-5.0 in the execution of its preremoval script, from which dpkg was unable to recover. This unfortunately leave mysql-server-5.0 in a pretty bad state and the server is then unusable, hence the severity level of "grave" in this report. An output excerpt from the upgrade attempt is included below:
