Package: wodim Version: 1.0~pre4-1 Severity: important I upgraded (unknowingly) from cdrecord to wodim, and discovered that it no longer worked, because the conffile had been replaced. Furthermore, /etc/cdrecord/* no longer existed (and I had no idea that the actual conffile was in /etc/default (a stupid place to have a conffile, incidentally) and that /etc/cdrecord only contained symlinks). So I had to recreate it from scratch.
wodim should, on upgrading from cdrecord, check for the existence of /etc/default/cdrecord and use that as its conffile.
