Package: debian-cd Version: 2.2.20 Severity: wishlist Tags: sid d-i This is a post-sarge-ish item, there's no reason to destabalise things for sarge to fix this. If we have a bit of time the change could easily be made pre-sarge.
In exclude-udebs-i386: # The speakup kernel modules are not useful unless the access images are # provided. *-speakup-di This is no longer accurate, we now have access-cd-drivers floppy images which could be used to do CD installs using the speakup kernel, but which don't yet work because the speakup kernel modules are currently excluded from the CD. Of course we need to look at whether removing this exclusion makes the CDs too big. I suspect it's ok since we recently freed up 4 mb of space on the netinst and businesscard by dropping the manuals. We'd also need to check how it imacts the full CD. -- System Information: Debian Release: 3.1 APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.4.27 Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Versions of packages debian-cd depends on: ii apt 0.5.28.5 Advanced front-end for dpkg ii apt-utils 0.5.28.5 APT utility programs ii bc 1.06-17 The GNU bc arbitrary precision cal ii cpp 4:3.3.5-1 The GNU C preprocessor (cpp) ii debootstrap 0.2.45-0.2 Bootstrap a basic Debian system ii grep-dctrl 2.1.8 Grep Debian package information ii lynx 2.8.5-2 Text-mode WWW Browser ii make 3.80-9 The GNU version of the "make" util ii mkisofs 4:2.01+01a01-2 Creates ISO-9660 CD-ROM filesystem ii perl [libdigest-md5-perl] 5.8.4-6 Larry Wall's Practical Extraction ii sysutils 1.3.8.5.1 Miscellaneous small system utiliti -- no debconf information -- see shy jo
