Hi Julian!
Could you please upload a version which provides an alternative
dependency onto texlive, so that I can blacklist rcs from the texlive
packages?
You Depends: on tetex-base, and it looks that rcs.sty doesn't use any
other sty files at all. So I guess
tetex-base | texlive-latex-base
would be ok. For the Recommends I would add something like
texlive-base-bin?!?
