Hi Russ, Thanks a lot for providing the new package!
I've tested and can report that the module builds just fine now on sid amd64. Unfortunately, it doesn't load though: aurich64:/home/andree# /etc/init.d/openafs-client start Starting AFS services:FATAL: Error inserting openafs (/lib/modules/2.6.18-1-amd64/fs/openafs.ko): Unknown symbol in module, or unknown parameter (see dmesg) Failed to load AFS kernel module, not starting AFS dmesg has: openafs: Unknown symbol tasklist_lock I found this on the web, not sure whether it helps: http://www.mail-archive.com/openafs-info@openafs.org/msg22012.html Cheers, Andree PS: I'll be off to bed pretty soon - it's past midnight in Sydney, so if I don't respond in the hours to come I'm sleeping. ;-) On Thu, 2006-09-28 at 06:33 -0700, Russ Allbery wrote: > Andree Leidenfrost <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> writes: > > > Just to make sure: You saw that I wrote that the issue does not occur > > with 2.6.17 but only with 2.6.18, didn't you? > > Yeah, I unfortunately don't have a 2.6.18 system.
