Hello, I am having this (or a similar) problem too, and it prevents upgrading the package: --- Preconfiguring packages ... (Reading database ... 30370 files and directories currently installed.) Errors were encountered while processing: /var/cache/apt/archives/imapproxy_1.2.4-5_i386.deb E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1) A package failed to install. Trying to recover: Press return to continue. --- imapproxy was working before upgrade but for some reason it is broken: --- Sep 27 23:37:31 scruffy in.imapproxyd[8341]: main(): Failed to load CA data. Ex iting. --- Regardless of the reason why it can't start (I will look at it when I am more awake tomorrow), it certainly should not cause the install to fail. This may be a candidate for a grave severity, but I left it at important because I am not sure if this would happen during a fresh install.
