I don't think so. AFAIK the last 5 or 6 releases of the ATIs Linux driver had massive problems with these cards. Maybe it's cleaner to just add a note to postinst and NEWS, that the support for these cards has been finally dropped. The free drivers provide some good support for these cards. What do you think? Are there features, the free drivers cannot provide, but the proprietary can? Regards, Daniel
