Package: ieee80211-modules-2.6.17-2-686 Version: 1.1.14-1 (testing)
when i install the ipw3945 from source code, i use the precompiled the ieee80211-modules from testing deposiary. I can sussfully compile the ipw3945.ko, but i can not load the module. It says that insmod: error inserting 'ipw3945.ko': -1 Unknown symbol in module my gcc is gcc-4.1. I also tried 4.0. However, if i uninstall ieee80211-modules-2.6.17-2-686, and download the ieee80211 source code from sourceforge and compiled myself, my compiled ipw3945.ko module can successfull inserted into kernel.
