Package: devscripts
Version: 2.9.21
Severity: normal

Hi,

Background:
I'm maintaing a few aspell packages. Aspell have upstream version which contains
a '-' sign in it. In the debian changelog we workaround that by changing the '-'
to a '+' sign. So the package has version something like 1.0+0-1 or 0.9+0-2
(see aspell-he package) or 0.03+0-1 (see aspell-fa package).

Problem:
uscan doesn't know this workaround, and doesn't find the correct file in the
scan. Example:

$ uscan --verbose
-- Scanning for watchfiles in .
-- Found watchfile in ./debian
-- In debian/watch, processing watchfile line:
   ftp://ftp.gnu.org/gnu/aspell/dict/fa/aspell6-fa-(.*)\.tar\.bz2
-- Found the following matching files:
     aspell6-fa-0.02-0.tar.bz2
     aspell6-fa-0.03-0.tar.bz2
     aspell6-fa-0.10-0.tar.bz2
Newest version on remote site is 0.10-0, local version is 0.10+0
=> remote site does not even have current version
-- Scan finished

Thanks.
