Package: libgphoto2-2
Version: 2.2.1-4
Severity: important

In libgphoto2-2.postinst, FDI files are created like this:

  # create FDI file
  /usr/lib/$PACKAGE/print-camera-list hal-fdi > \
    /usr/share/hal/fdi/information/10freedesktop/10-camera-$PACKAGE.fd
  /usr/lib/$PACKAGE/print-camera-list hal-fdi-device > \
    /usr/share/hal/fdi/information/10freedesktop/10-camera-$PACKAGE-device.fd

The missing "i" in the extension causes hald(8) to lack capabilites for
handling cameras, and thus gnome-volume-manager cannot do its stuff when
the user plugs one in.

Lots of reading of debug logs from hald, comparing with those from a
camera-working Ubuntu system, to find this one out.

In addition, perhaps these two FDI files should be removed at postrm.
