Package: webalizer Version: 2.01.10-26 Severity: wishlist
Hi! I just installed webalizer from Debian package and had a hard time to figure out why the DNS resolving feature won't work, even if I type everything as is stated in the manual page. Well, after some time I've decited to take a look at /usr/share/doc/webalizer and I've found an ansfer. Example configuration in /usr/share/doc/webalizer has two important entries: #DNSCache dns_cache.db and #DNSChildren 20 without'em webalizer won't/can't use the DNS Resolver. It would be nice if this two options could be included in a default config file that ends up in /etc/webalizer.conf because it would (IMHO) speed up digging around the DNS cache problem. :-) -- System Information: Debian Release: 3.1 Architecture: powerpc (ppc) Kernel: Linux 2.6.8-powerpc Locale: LANG=pl_PL, LC_CTYPE=pl_PL (charmap=ISO-8859-2) Versions of packages webalizer depends on: ii debconf 1.4.30.13 Debian configuration management sy ii libc6 2.3.2.ds1-22sarge4 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an ii libdb4.2 4.2.52-18 Berkeley v4.2 Database Libraries [ ii libgd2-xpm 2.0.33-1.1sarge1 GD Graphics Library version 2 ii libpng12-0 1.2.8rel-1 PNG library - runtime ii zlib1g 1:1.2.2-4.sarge.2 compression library - runtime -- debconf information excluded -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
