libpisock.la and libpisync.la both references libusb.la and hence need a dependency on libusb-dev. It's either that or removing *.la in the package, which is what has been done in most of the gnome-stack. At the moment I had to pull in a superfluos and temporary build-dep on libusb-dev to build evolution.
