For some reason, the string did not get marked as fuzzy...which makes the change in original string invisible to translators. Did you use gettext utilities to merge the new POT file with the PO files? That should not have happened. I'd suggest marking this string as fuzzy for all files which have not been recently updated. Most of them probably do not have that translation for "--version".
