Package: mpg321 Version: 0.2.10.3 Severity: minor Using an amd64 distribution, I was playing some mp3s using mpg321. I discovered that the output displayed by the "-v" option is quite messed up, since the substraction of the "frames left" seems to be broken:
Frame# 84401 [18446744073709474752], Time: 00:36.10 [02:40.77], Most probably there is a small 32-bits casting problem in the code, causing this overflow in 64-bits mode. -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'testing') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.17.13 Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C (charmap=ANSI_X3.4-1968) Versions of packages mpg321 depends on: ii libao2 0.8.6-4 Cross Platform Audio Output Librar ii libc6 2.3.6.ds1-4 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libid3tag0 0.15.1b-8 ID3 tag reading library from the M ii libmad0 0.15.1b-2.1 MPEG audio decoder library ii zlib1g 1:1.2.3-13 compression library - runtime mpg321 recommends no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
