Package: pppconfig Version: 2.3.14 Severity: important I noticed the pppconfig package contain files and directories in /var/run/. Soon, I plan to upload a version on sysvinit into unstable where /var/run/ is changed into a tmpfs. This will make such directories disappear after boot. The scripts in /etc/ppp/ip-*.d/0dns-* expect /var/run/pppconfig to exist, and will thus run into problems when /var/run/ is a tmpfs. Please modify pppconfig to not expect files and directories in /var/run/ to persist across boots.
