It would be nice if this was better documented (and frankly, using the
initscript which then directly calls run-parts instead of resolvconf
seems a little bit strange to me...)

Reopening, retitling, and setting severity to wishlist.

Quite the contrary; they *love* collateral damage. If they can make
you miserable enough, maybe you'll stop using email entirely. Once
