Package: dhcp3-server
Version: 3.0.4-8
This isn't anything new. It's been around a while, and I'm just now
reporting it.
I have a local diversion of /etc/init.d/dhcp3-server to
/etc/init.d/dhcp3-server.distrib, since I manage dhcp3 inside of heartbeat
instead of box-specific.
Anytime I upgrade the server, I get:
invoke-rc.d: unknown initscript, /etc/init.d/dhcp3-server not found.
dpkg: warning - old pre-removal script returned error exit status 100
dpkg - trying script from the new package instead ...
invoke-rc.d: unknown initscript, /etc/init.d/dhcp3-server not found.
dpkg: error processing /var/cache/apt/archives/dhcp3-server_3.0.4-8_i386.deb
(--unpack):
subprocess new pre-removal script returned error exit status 100
Errors were encountered while processing:
/var/cache/apt/archives/dhcp3-server_3.0.4-8_i386.deb
E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1)
I can work around it by making an empty executable /etc/init.d/dhcp3-server
file, but that's ugly. It should just keep quiet.
