Here is a patch against debian source package amanda_2.5.0p2-1 file:
amanda-2.5.0p2/server-src/amcheck.c
This is untested but the line is included in lates CVS version of the
code. The one liner sets "tapebad = 1;" when the "expectind
such-and-such-a-tape" error message is printed.
