I'm the main upstream developer. I agree that these I/O warnings are quite confusing, but the only thing you should look at is this part:

And particularly this line : DDC/CI supported: No Your monitor does not support DDC/CI. If you think it is wrong (e.g. you have software to control monitor parameters on Windows, and this software works, or you have some specification sheets indicating that it support DDC/CI), please send the output of LANG= LC_ALL= ddccontrol -p -c -d -v -v to [EMAIL PROTECTED] .
