Reassigned. I can reproduce this bug when using xine's OpenGL video output plugin and running with LIBGL_ALWAYS_INDIRECT=1. This makes the bug similar to bug #357439; that's good, maybe having more than one package able to show the error will increase the chances of tracking it down. In the case of xine, there are definitely workarounds available. If you don't have libgl1-mesa-dri installed, and your system supports DRI, you can try installing that package to see if it fixes the problem for you. If not, the OpenGL driver is also not the default xine video output driver -- so you can also workaround this by switching to a different driver in your ~/.xine/config file. ("auto" works fine for me, seems to default to xv.) Therefore I'm also downgrading this bug since it doesn't make the package completely unusable.
