Hi!

I checked, and can confirm that this patch applies well to 3.0.2-1 with
the Debian patches. It needs to be a bit offset though, but is
otherwise OK, it seems.

Here's what my trails return:
patching file debian/rules
patching file debian/spamassassin.default
patching file debian/spamassassin.dirs
Hunk #1 succeeded at 18 (offset 10 lines).
patching file debian/spamassassin.init
patching file debian/spamassassin.logrotate
patching file debian/spamassassin.postinst
Hunk #1 succeeded at 43 (offset 23 lines).
patching file debian/spamassassin.postrm

I have also tried it against upstream 3.0 svn branch. Upstream developer
Daniel Quinlan has some debian control files in there too (and if I
understood him correctly, he's interested in getting the official
Debian files in there, if they can be licenced), but it does not apply
cleanly against that.

Best,

Kjetil
