It would still be nice if mondoarchive preferred /tmp and/or /var/tmp
over other places, but I can type "-T /tmp -S /tmp" easily
enough. (bug #312546)

tested with just '-N' and then just '-E' - works for me

It does seem like using mondoarchive to back up /afs is probably never
appropriate.  But, if someone had a completely isolated cell and the
clients couldn't see the rest of the "global" AFS filesystem, then I
suppose it's possible that someone might back up files contained in
AFS.
