If you want to go ahead and report the bug upstream, feel free to do so, I have absolutely no problems with that. I will not be able to test it before monday or tuesday, so if you'd like to do it faster, just file a new bug on the kde bug tracker and send me the bug number so that I can mark the bug as forwarded.
