Since upgrading from samba 3.0.22-1 to 3.0.23c-1 users listed in the 
"valid users" configuration entry can no longer log in.
The log file contains entries like.
"user 'martinh' (from session setup) not permitted to access this share
(OfficeShare)"
With the previous package 3.0.22 (even after downgrade) everthing works
fine.
Shares without specified "valid users" work without any problems in
both versions.
All users are unix users taken from a nis server.
