Btw, how about making -q the default behavior and adding some -v to
get verbose output? I see that now the informational messages at least
go to stderr so users don't get corrupted files when they do something
like

schroot oggenc - < foo.wav > foo.ogg

If changing default behavior sounds too radical how about adding an
option to schroot.conf where one would specify "-q" as default for
some chroot?

(Yes, I know, I should submit this as a separate wishlist bug.)
