Last night I built and installed Firefox 1.5.dfsg+1.5.0.6-3 with apt-build, and
surprisingly, after the problems I've had with apt-build in the past, it worked
perfectly.
But wouldn't you know it, today Debian updates Firefox in unstable to
1.5.dfsg+1.5.0.6-4. (Maybe it's not worth updating, but the changelog isn't
available at the moment.)
So I tried to build and install the new one, but it didn't work. apt-build did
download the new Debian diffs, and did avoid redownloading the entire Firefox
source package
that it already has extracted, but it did not even try to apply the new
1.5.dfsg+1.5.0.6-4 diffs. So I had to $(apt-build clean-build), which wipes
out all of the
downloaded sources. That, of course, defeats the advantage of not
redownloading the already-unpacked sources.

Hopefully a simple bug to fix.
