On second thought, it should not use the kill scripts from the run level it is leaving. When this is done, the kill scripts in runlevel 6 and 0 are not executed when the machine reboots or halts. And they should definitely be executed during hald and reboot. Sorry for the confusion. I hope not too many try to upgrade the package tomorrow, and even less reboot their machine after that, because only some of their halt and reboot scripts will be executed until the new package is available the day after tomorrow. My upload to fix the broken upload happened too late for todays archive run. :( I do not reopen this bug, because it is reporting something that isn't a bug.
