Still, I don't see how this is a problem with mysql-ruby: it is either
with a particular mirror, or with mysql on amd64 in general. This
package:
http://http.us.debian.org/debian/pool/main/m/mysql-dfsg-5.0/libmysqlclient15off_5.0.24a-1_amd64.deb
from official pool satisfies this dependency.
Downgrading the bug to wishlist (as the problem is with unofficial
mirror anyway), please re-assign it where it belongs. I would do it
myself, but I'm not sure where to send it as I'm not following amd64
at the moment. If no one escalates this bug properly, I will close it
after some time.
