I have a pilot-qof 0.1.1 package available but I cannot build it at the
moment, because libpisock-dev does not package the
./usr/lib/pkgconfig/pilot-link.pc file for libpisock-dev (0.12) - it is
in CVS. (bug filed, waiting for #).

pilot-qof 0.0.x hasn't a hope of building against libpisock9 because it
had to be backported to pilot-link 0.11.8 due to the enormous delays in
the 0.12 release. I can't upload the new 0.1.x series until libpisock9
is actually available for me to use in pbuilder. (That is clearly
specified in the pilot-qof README.)

Irrelevant, sorry.

I am pilot-qof upstream and please don't worry about a patch. It's a far
larger update than simply tweaking configure.ac and some Makefiles.
pilot-qof is simply waiting for libpisock-dev.

Note that I had to modify configure.ac:

This patch is useless - 0.0.x will never be capable of building against
libpisock9 but I can't fix this until libpisock9 is actually available
for me to use!! The problem is (and has been for over 2 years) in
pilot-link, not pilot-qof.
