I have a pilot-qof 0.1.1 package available but I cannot build it at the moment, because libpisock-dev does not package the ./usr/lib/pkgconfig/pilot-link.pc file for libpisock-dev (0.12) - it is in CVS. (bug filed, waiting for #). > Before uploading it to unstable and replace > libpisock8 by libpisock9 I try to recompile every package using libpisock8. pilot-qof 0.0.x hasn't a hope of building against libpisock9 because it had to be backported to pilot-link 0.11.8 due to the enormous delays in the 0.12 release. I can't upload the new 0.1.x series until libpisock9 is actually available for me to use in pbuilder. (That is clearly specified in the pilot-qof README.) > > pilot-qof fails to build with: Irrelevant, sorry. > I have no patch at this time to correct the problem. You should talk with > pilot-qof upstream. I am pilot-qof upstream and please don't worry about a patch. It's a far larger update than simply tweaking configure.ac and some Makefiles. pilot-qof is simply waiting for libpisock-dev. Note that I had to modify configure.ac: This patch is useless - 0.0.x will never be capable of building against libpisock9 but I can't fix this until libpisock9 is actually available for me to use!! The problem is (and has been for over 2 years) in pilot-link, not pilot-qof. -- Neil Williams ============= http://www.data-freedom.org/ http://www.nosoftwarepatents.com/ http://www.linux.codehelp.co.uk/
