Package: transfig Version: 1:3.2.5-alpha7-3 Severity: important
fig2dev expects X11's rgb.txt at /usr/lib/X11/rgb.txt but in recent x11-common packages it's located at /usr/share/X11/rgb.txt. When converting a .fig which includes XPMs to a PDF, you get errors like the following for each colour used: Couldn't open the RGB database file '/usr/lib/X11/rgb.txt' I worked around by creating a symlink from /usr/lib/X11/rgb.txt to /usr/share/X11/rgb.txt, but I think this is a compile-time option to transfig and should get changed to the new location of rgb.txt. -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.16 Locale: LANG=en_US, LC_CTYPE=de_DE (charmap=ANSI_X3.4-1968) (ignored: LC_ALL set to C) Versions of packages transfig depends on: ii libc6 2.3.6.ds1-4 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libpng12-0 1.2.8rel-5.2 PNG library - runtime ii libx11-6 2:1.0.0-8 X11 client-side library ii libxpm4 1:3.5.4.2-3 X11 pixmap library ii zlib1g 1:1.2.3-13 compression library - runtime Versions of packages transfig recommends: ii gs 8.50-1.1 Transitional package ii gs-afpl [gs] 8.53-0.2 The AFPL Ghostscript PostScript in ii gs-esp [gs] 8.15.2.dfsg.1-2 The Ghostscript PostScript interpr ii gs-gpl [gs] 8.50-1.1 The GPL Ghostscript PostScript int ii netpbm 2:10.0-10.1 Graphics conversion tools -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
