Package: pdftk
Version: 1.12-11
Severity: normal

Hi,

I'm trying to concatenate several PDF documents and pdftk exits with a
NullPointerException:

$ pdftk ALPP001.pdf ALPP002.pdf cat output ../alombard.pdf
Unhandled Java Exception:
java.lang.NullPointerException
   <<No stacktrace available>>

The two PDF documents used can be downloaded from
http://www.catalogue.alombard.fr/pdf/al/ALPP001.pdf
http://www.catalogue.alombard.fr/pdf/al/ALPP002.pdf

I can send these by email if downloading them from the original web site
is a problem.

I can reproduce the bug with all the documents coming from the catalogue
of Scheider companies (Merlin Gérin, Alombard...), but other PDFs I have
tested work fine.

The file(1) command tells me that the catalogue PDFs use version 1.5 of the
format, whereas the other documents I have been able to process use
earlier versions (1.3 or 1.4). I don't have any other PDF documents on
my disk using PDF version 1.5 to test, so this may or may not be be
related to the cause of the problem.

Any suggestion about how I can work around this issue are welcome.
