Hi All
After an update today of my sendmail packages I got an error in my
mail.log after sending mail [following is slightly edited for posting]:

/var/lib/sendmail/host_status/net./[deleted]./mail: Group writable directory

After changing the permissions of /var/lib/sendmail
from this one:
drwxrws--x 3 smmta smmsp 4096 Aug 31 19:05 /var/lib/sendmail/
to that:
drwxr-s--x 3 smmta smmsp 4096 Aug 31 19:05 /var/lib/sendmail/
the error seems to be gone.
I hope I did not break my dear old sendmail by that ... :)
